When it comes to
gaming, we know that tablets cannot run latest games, mostly because of their
hardware, but that’s going to change thanks to this new device that combines the portability of a tablet and
hardware power of a PC computer into one.
Project Fiona is developed by Razer, and although it looks like a
tablet, this device has Intel Core i7 processor that allows you to run
latest PC games on it without any problems. As for other specs, Project
Fiona has 10.1-inch display that uses 1280 x 800
resolution,
and it also has support for Dolby 7.1 audio. Project Fiona will run PC
games natively, therefore, developers won’t have to port their titles,
but only problem for the PC gamers might be the built-in
controller interface, especially if they are used to keyboard and mouse.
This interface is comprised of two controllers that are attached on the sides of the device, and each
controller has analog sticks, front buttons as well as shoulder buttons.
Project Fiona looks promising enough, and it will surely be a hit among
gamers who want to enjoy in their favorite PC games on a portable
device. As for the price and
release date, no information is available at the moment.
